Panel of Jurors
JURORS FOR REVIEW OF FIRST SUBMISSIONS TO THE HADSPEN PARABOLA COMPETITION
The following ‘Jurors’ have agreed to examine Submissions during the period 6th August to 15th September 2007.
We hope competitors will understand that completing this exercise within the time frame represents a major organisational effort, and real generosity on the part of the Jurors themselves.
The main criterion for the selection of Jurors is a strong interest in contemporary visual culture, not simply in gardens. In every case, this is allied to an expressed curiosity on their part as to the eventual outcome of the Parabola project.
Other disciplines, for instance botany and ecology, will be represented on a consultative basis throughout the selection process.
We still envisage a ‘long’ shortlist by the end of September. Submissions will be placed on the shortlist on the basis of their being given the largest aggregate number of votes from Jurors.
