The judging process to select the initial shortlist has now finished. There follows below the pseudonyms of the submissions that jurors have selected as a shortlist for the competition.

The shortlist is the product of literally hundreds of hours of consideration, discussion and vote tallying. There were over 100 submissions, all diverse and stimulating, many challenging.
As was said at the outset, it is not going to be possible for us to give out any information on the jurors’ responses to individual entries; not least this is because the information itself was not recorded as the assessment process unfolded. We thought it would be better that way.
We are very grateful indeed to everybody who made a submission.
The shortlisted entries will be displayed at the The Museum of Garden History from the 30th October as part of the Hadspen Parabola exhibition. This will run until the 21st December 2007.
